Потом, правда, редактор всё переиграл, вставил сильно сокращенный кусок в материал о том, как освободить свой дом от хлама, но интервью-то осталось, поэтому выложу его здесь, возможно, в нём есть ответ и на ваш вопрос… Читайте:
— На носу Новый год, город и его жители постепенно втягиваются в покупательскую вакханалию покупок подарков и вещей со скидками. Не тянет чего-нибудь прикупить?
В этом году что-то совсем не тянет. Вообще я всегда очень любила дарить подарки. И обычно новогоднее настроение всё-таки просит каких-нибудь гирлянд, шуршащих упаковочек, радости для друзей. Но в этом году я уже заранее готовлюсь и готовлю родных и друзей к тому, что я в этом году gift-free, не хочу дарить, не хочу получать. Пока что все воспринимают это спокойно.
— Судя по тому, что я успела подметить в вашем блоге вы стремитесь именно к минимализму, а не к аскетизму, то есть какими-то вещами вы все-таки обрастаете? Что это за вещи?
Стремление к минимализму для меня ничего общего с аскетизмом не имеет. Я ни в чём себя не ограничиваю. Вещи, от которых я отказываюсь, просто становятся обременительными, на уход за ними, перекладывание и хранение всё меньше хочется тратить время. И есть ещё огромное количество вещей (кроме предметов первой необходимости), которые мне нравятся: мои 22 калейдоскопа, наши с мужем картины, целый стеллаж детских книг, шейные платки на все случаи жизни, бумажные письма и немногие трогательные вещички ещё из моего детства, например. Стало просто расставаться с любыми вещами, которые больше меня не радуют, так и случается минимализм. Если моя дочка раскидает все игрушки, книжки и мелочи из наших ящиков, стороннему человеку весь наш быт вовсе не покажется минималистичным, но на уборку всего этого беспорядка мне потребуется не больше 10 минут. Какая уж тут аскеза? Наоборот!
— Причину, по которой вы изменили отношение, вернее несколько причин, и к потреблению и к образу жизни в целом, вы раскрываете в своем блоге. Но как это выглядело на практике, от чего вы в первую очередь отказались?
13 лет назад я отказалась от телевизора. Наверно, с этого всё началось. Теперь я как будто слой за слоем разбираю то, что перестало быть для меня актуальным, приносящим пользу или хотя бы хорошее настроение. Первыми «ушли» некрасивые вещи, вещи, требующие много места и ухода, неудобные, сломанные, чужие. Потом лишняя одежда, украшения, косметика, бытовая химия. «Друзья» в соцсетях, с которыми давно нет никакого контакта, неприятные мне люди, сообщества, где немного единомышленников, подписки на неинтересные материалы, Twitter, Skype. Facebook остался только для анонсов, ВКонтакте как быстрая почта, в ЖЖ — только 15 человек в ленте, которую я читаю. Все мои приложения в телефоне помещаются на один экран. С каждым днём всё больше ясности, хорошо видно, с чем ещё стоит попрощаться. Самое прекрасное, что всё это напрямую затрагивает привычки, убеждения, поведение и… структуру личности, что ли :) я сейчас уже не тот человек, что полгода назад.
— У вас в описание вашей же группы несколько раз встречается слово осознанное, это и осознанное потребление, и осознанный отдых, а что тогда, по-вашему, неосознанный?
Да, осознанность — это про качество жизни для меня, про проживание именно своего настоящего, про то, чтобы видеть реальный выбор там, где принято действовать на автомате, слушать себя и получать ответы изнутри. Неосознанный… По-разному бывает. Кто-то много лет выполняет программу, типа, школа-институт-работа-замуж-дети или квартира-машина-дача, оправдывает возложенные на него ожидания, исправно покупает все новинки компьютерной техники, мечтает о туфлях Маноло Бланик, ищет работу попрестижнее, глушит растущую тревожность и внутреннюю неудовлетворенность алкоголем, играми, шопингом, другими зависимостями и не останавливается в этой гонке. А для осознания как раз нужна пауза, тишина, свобода, природа, простые вещи. И я не говорю, что это плохо, что все кругом неосознанные, если человек выбирает себе такую жизнь, значит, это именно то, что нужно ему сейчас. В своём блоге я просто транслирую, что может быть и по-другому, и среди моих читателей есть те, кто в это верит.
— Расскажите, как пришла идея провести такой открытый эксперимент по
избавлению от вещей? Какие вещи были среди первых покинувших ваш дом? Как отказаться от вещи, в которой у вас нет практической необходимости, но вы прикипели к ней душой?
С одной стороны, я довольно много читаю западных блогов о простой жизни, минимализме, разумном потреблении, многие их идеи мне близки и понятны. И эти блогеры то и дело затевают какие-нибудь трансформирующие проекты. То месяц хотят прожить, не присаживаясь в течении дня больше, чем на 30 минут, то сокращают количество личных вещей до 100, то отказываются от покупной еды, а то и вовсе год ничего не покупают. С другой стороны, я всегда любовалась фото-проектами своих знакомых, когда они каждый день брали в руки фотоаппарат и рассказывали про свои дни. И мне удалось совместить в своём эксперименте много всего: расхламление, регулярность, фотографию, истории вещей, которые хотят быть рассказанными, полезную информацию о людях и проектах, которым может что-то ещё пригодиться, ссылки на организации и общественные инициативы. А главное — это очень наглядно — у каждого есть те или иные похожие вещи, когда я рассказываю их истории, люди задумываются, а так ли важно им хранить то, что они хранят. При этом я никогда не избавлюсь от вещи, которая мне нравится, которую мне жаль отдавать или выбрасывать. Зачем? Лучше я подожду ещё немного, пока чувства к ней не остынут. Чтобы расставание было освобождающим и лёгким.
— Насколько я понимаю, к тому моменту как вы решили провести свой эксперимент, вы уже «очистили» свое жизненное пространство от многих ненужных вам вещей. И все равно поставили себе условие избавляться от семи вещей в неделю? Не опасаетесь, что у вас уже не осталось такого количества ненужных вещей?
Признаться честно, это намного больше, чем 7 вещей в неделю. Кроме того, что можно заметить на фотографиях, где за одну вещь считается стопка книжек, например, я ещё постоянно пересматриваю то, что не подходит для проекта (скажем, совсем нефотогеничные вещи, слишком личные или подаренные кем-то из читателей), и отдаю друзьям или проектам целыми пакетами. Тут ненужных игрушек отдала друзьям, там вещички для новорожденного сына подруги, что-то поношенное отправила в Перемолку, а раздельно собранный мусор, который я сдаю ежемесячно, показала лишь однажды. Дело в том, что когда включаешься в такую регулярную деятельность, то фокус внимания всегда держится на сути проекта. Свободный дом, полный воздуха и пространства, для меня важнее, чем то, чтобы каждая выброшенная вещь получила свой звёздный час в проекте. Мои друзья тоже всерьез опасаются, что скоро у меня ничего лишнего не останется, но это только кажется, что 365 — это много. Психологически трудно думать о такой цифре, но реально у нас тысячи вещей, накопленных годами, особенно, у тех, кто давно не переезжал, у кого собственное жильё и оседлый образ жизни. Кроме того, что лежит на поверхности, есть ещё ящички, антресоли, шкафы, кухонная утварь, документы, а ещё всякие нематериальности, вроде лишних файлов на компьютере, смазанных фотографий, отживших своё отношений, дурацких привычек, ярлычков, навешанных другими людьми, чужих энергий…
— Есть ли в вашем доме что-то, от чего вы точно не откажетесь? Например, электрический чайник или посудомоечная машина или может быть старые фотоальбомы?
У нас нет посудомоечной машины, только стиральная. От неё я, конечно, отказываться не собираюсь, это удобно, мы ей пользуемся. А тостером, например, не пользуемся, вот и избавились уже. Самые ценные в моём доме не вещи, а муж и дочка. Я храню небольшие ностальгические вещи для нас, чтобы перебирать и умиляться спустя много лет. У меня всегда дома будут растения и книги, тёплые носки и уютные чашки, сундучок с сокровищами и красочный калейдоскоп.
— Вы придерживаетесь концепции простоты, касается это не только вещей, что еще изменилось в вашей жизни?
Ох уж эта непростая простота :) Я намного больше внимания стала уделять экологии, тому следу, который оставляю я и моя семья, мы меньше потребляем,
предпочитаем многоразовое одноразовому, сортируем мусор, покупаем неновые вещи, с какого-то момента обо всём этом не можешь не задумываться. Как я уже говорила, это регулярный пересмотр привычек, сокращения ежедневных дел, круга друзей и, глубже, постоянный процесс познания себя настоящей, не зависимой от чужого мнения, воспитания и ожиданий, процесс очищения, поиска смыслов.
— Представьте себе человека, для которого ваши мысли и сам образ жизни в диковинку, чтобы вы ему сказали, чтобы он сумел взглянуть на окружающий его мир вашими глазами?
Я не думаю, что каждому стоит смотреть на мир моими глазами, но, думаю, каждому полезно иногда задавать себе вопрос: «А так ли я живу свою единственную жизнь?» И не идти в Интернет, пока не дашь себе вдумчивый ответ. Даже в мой блог Может быть по-другому.
